Our Story

Coffee for the Cause isn’t just our business, it’s the culmination of a family legacy that began generations ago. John’s great-great-grandfather, Dario Gallegos, embodied the spirit of entrepreneurship and community when he opened Colorado’s first general store in the 1800s. That same drive to serve and innovate is what fuels us today.

Co-Owner, Brittany, brings a lifelong passion for social impact and nonprofit work. Together, with our son by our side, we’re driven to make Coffee for the Cause more than just a coffee roaster.

We believe in crafting exceptional coffee experiences, which is why we’re expanding our offerings to include exquisite single-origin beans while still honoring the beloved blends and flavors our customers cherish.
